The mission of Fremont Street Nursery is to provide quality childcare within the financial reach of families, which is safe, secure, and educationally appropriate for each child’s needs and development.

Our Classes

Art Class

True creativity comes forth when mastery of core skills is combined with original thought. The art program helps children develop the skills, tools and confidence.

Music Therapy

This program involves s trained and certified professional using music therapy in a clinical an evidenced-based way. It provides our children 2-12 years of age with the ability to express themselves without words and facilitates relaxation through singing, writing songs or listening to music.

Physical Fitness Program

Our soccer and basketball programs are powerful vehicles for the positivity. It addresses childhood obesity and sedentary lifestyles. We implement a physical fitness program that encourages our students to exercise in a fun engaging way.

Gardening

Fremont has a children’s garden on the premises. With the assistance from Master Gardner Association, the children learn to plant and harvest fruits and vegetables.

Teacher of the Month

Roxanne Searchwell

Infant Room

Mrs. Roxanne has been apart of Fremont’s family for 15 years! Roxanne has her CDA credential, First Aide certified, CPR certified. and continues to further her education. Any given day you can find her in the Infant Room dancing with her babies.

Our Services

Three Nutritional Meals

Breakfast, lunch and a afternoon snack is prepared by our Kitchen Manager and served daily. All food is CACFP approved.

Children Assessments

All children are assessed in the Spring and Fall using the LAP and PALS assessment tools. This is to ensure that each child has age appropriate skills.

Learning Through Play

Through play, children learn a set of skills: social skills, creativity, hand-eye coordination, problem solving, and imagination.

TLC

Daily care and playful, loving interactions build strong bonds. By providing consistent, loving care the teachers strengthen their relationship with the children they care for and build a healthy attachment.

How to enroll step by step

  • Application

    Request an enrollment packet. This will include emergency forms, Parent Handbook agreement, field trip permission and photo release. A current physical, immunization record and birth certificate are also required.

  • Tour

    Request a tour of the daycare. The Director will gladly show you the classrooms, meet the teachers and sit down with you to answer any questions you may have.

  • Admission

    An enrollment start date will be given to you, if spaces are available. If there are not any available, you can request to be added to the waiting list.
